WarriorFit Kick Boxing ClassesCombining a set of flexibility and strength-building moves, WarriorFit Cardio Kickboxing classes will take you through a routine of energetic drills that will help you burn calories and get you into shape. The sessions will include a range of cardiovascular workouts consisting of a range of boxing and kicking techniques and manoeuvres that will increase and decrease in intensity as the workout progresses.
Cardio Kickboxing is a full body workout Kickboxing and provides a great alternative to those who are looking for a fresh alternative to the treadmill and other cardio exercises. It also includes "dance-type" movements found in aerobics or step classes.
The classes are best for medium fitness level individuals who have developed above-average endurance, strength, and flexibility but newcomers are always welcome.
Set a goal:
Before you undertake the class, determine what it is you want to achieve. With your goals set, you will find it easier to begin and keep at it.
Be honest about what you can handle:
Cardio Kickboxing can be more intense than a normal exercise program, and classes may challenge your body in ways it’s not yet used to.
Depending on the intensity of the workout, a cardio kickboxing workout burns between 10-15 calories per minute.
What to Bring:
Although you are not required to bring any gear along to participate in the sessions, we recommend you bring along a sweat towel.
What to Wear:
Wear loose-fitting clothing and comfortable shoes, you will be constantly on the move, so be sure you can manoeuvre freely.
